Agent-Based Design and Growth Correlation, Cyber-Body Apparatus
AGENTS, IN ARCHITECTURE OF INTRICATE AND UNMEASURABLE FORMS, ARE ACTIVE INSTRUMENTS THAT
FULFILL THE DUTIES THAT ARE ASSIGNED TO THEM. BY MEANS OF AGENT-BASED APPROACHES, IT IS POSSIBLE TO
MODEL INTRICATE FORMS AND TO FURTHER ANALYZE THEM.
With allocatable duties, agents make possible the designers biomimicry-based approaches and develop new design methodologies, thus enabling them to produce unmeasurable forms in digital platforms. In this context, the study model that interpreted the process as an experiment handles the volume that is conceived by agents as a microorganism. As a result of
the defined parameters and behaviors, enables the form and alterations of the volume. The discrimination here is that the form being not stable but moving and alive. Form/Volume is a microorganism. The agents within the model, being equipped with data of growth algorithms, thus the model is assigned a growth pattern of a rhizome. In this context, the biological and contextual meaning of rhizome is taken advantage of. The notion 'rhizome' that Deleuze and Guattari raised in the entrance of Thousand Valleys, can be considered as an anti-hierarchic multiplicity. Biologically, a rhizome is a body part of a plant that is buried under the soil. Conceiving a simultaneous simulation for the designer, the model is formed by rhizomatic behavior pattern and the designer could use the model as a form-finder-maker instrument by the agents that he/she has given preference to. Being able to be focused on such architectural structures, the model can be focused on such categories as objects, implants, neuroprosthesis. Meanwhile, throughout the process, with the outcome of the rhizome and agent notions, in a cyber future, by means of organic material, the model could be taken advantage of as a body part-annex that stimulates the body performance or a cyber-body apparatus that can cure the body.
